I had a designer reach out and was looking for a small bench to go near a front door. Something that could be used for taking off shoes or boots. After a little back and forth on the material, we settled on a nice little oak bench.

Splayed and shaped bench
I was asked to create a small bench (seat) for an entryway. The house is a split-level and needed something by the front door, but it couldn’t be too large else it would take up valuable space. So, that is where custom furniture comes in.

Simple looking bench
A while ago, I accidentally cracked this cheap shoe shelf thing in our laundry room. Not enough to ruin it, but I head it “give” a bit. I decided to build a new one that I could sit on. Since the location of the shoe shelf is the spot where I put on my shoes or boots before heading into the garage or outside to do lawn work.

Custom Entry Closet
The entry closet near our front door was due for an update. It only had a wire rack for the upper shelf with hangers for coats. Our shoes sat on the floor and another wire rack thingy.
