I have created a very handy drawer sizing tool for cabinets. It helps a designer figure out the best layout of drawer sizes based on a cabinet opening. I have yet to figure out how to edit this sheet directly on my site, but the link below will allow you to download it as and ODS file.
- Start by entering the cabinet opening size
- Determine the overlay (negative for inset)
- Enter the drawer spacing and the desired false front spacing
- Enter the drawer slide dimensions
- Start adding and adjusting the drawer heights
- If you don’t want a drawer make sure it is blank
- Leaving a value or zero in there will mess up the calculations
- Keep adjusting the drawer heights until the Remaining Height gets near zero
